Team Leadership

Activities

In 2008-2009, I would like to participate in the following activities as an AAR (check all that apply):

Contact Prospectives (Code: CL): Make phone calls, send e-mails, and/or write notes to assigned high school students who have shown a high interest in Carleton. (HIPs) (Peak times: June, September through November, and April.)
Special Contacts (Code: SC): I am willing to contact students who do not have an AAR in their geographical area. (examples of students: 1st generation, students in remote areas of the country, students of color, etc.) (Peak times: June, September through November, and April.)
Interview Prospective Students (Code: IV): Interview prospectives in my area who request an interview and submit and interview report to the Admissions Office. (Peak times: September through January.); Interview Day Space: I could provide a location for an "Interview Day" in my area

Represent Carleton at Local College Fairs (Code: CF): Reply to invitations from the Admissions Office to staff selected college fairs and staff the tables. (Peak times: April, May, September through November.)
Attend Carleton Events and Gatherings (Code: GA): Meet and greet prospectives who come to Carleton-sponsored gatherings in my area. (Peak times: August, October, December, and April.); I am interested in hosting a gathering for prospective students and their families.
Contact (Visit, if possible) Local High Schools (Code: SV): Be a resource person for local high schools -- particularly, for guidance counselors & interested students from those schools. (Peak times: June, September, October, and April.)
