24 Hour Show

(website)

Every year the Experimental Theater Board puts on the "24 Hour Show," a series of one-act plays written, rehearsed and performed in just 24 hours. The writing process is intense, and typically requires large doses of coffee to stave off drowsiness. Writers try to finish in twelve hours as to give the actors the remaining twelve hours to learn their lines and rehearse before the evening performance. The producers act as facilitators, aiding anybody who needs it at any stage of the process.
