Northfield's town motto is "cows, colleges, and contentment."  My own experience may be better described by these three "C"s. 

The second week of school brings fall weather, a TB test, bowling education, a new grandparent, and a dash of manual labor.

So I realize this post is pretty late.

It's not my fault. I caught a cold. A cold counts as a good excuse for anything.

But I still owe you a big post. So here it is!

These days are a great time to see Carleton's campus, ask questions of current students and faculty members, and learn more about the college and the application process.
