My friend Britta had a really great weekend last weekend, and I asked her to write a blog post for me about the stuff she did, knowing I couldn't really reproduce it.  She always has a totally unique way of looking at things, so I thought I'd post her thoughts.

There's a reason "room" rhymes with "doom" and "draw" rhymes with... something ominous that I can't think of right now. "Maw", perhaps?

So, there are a lot of activities going on right now!  This past weekend was 6th weekend, and I had to divide my time a lot.

My friend Britta had a pretty eventful weekend - she did the Alternatives to Violence Program and then went to an incredible May Day celebration with some lovely pics taken.  I'm going to hope she writes something up for me this week, and instead give you guys a small taste of two things I'm really into right now:  my music (shocker!) and this awesome blog and discussion group run by some friends of mine.

Last week I had seen a ton of posters up around campus about a performance art piece that was going on called Piano Burning.  The posters made sure to advertise that the performance would include an actual piano being burned.  While I was sitting in the music lab arranging my song for Exit (unfortunately I didn't finish because the program crashed and I lost motivation and just played guitar) I heard some of the music majors talking about it and a few of them were talking about going to get the piano and scrape all the paint off of it before burning it...MORE

"Plurgh" is a word I just made up to describe the condition of having two major projects to do in one day and having a really bad cold at the same time. As it happens, I am in a state of Plurgh. Hopefully you will have enough pity on me upon hearing the mournful sound of this word that you will not hold the shortness of this post against me.

I have so much good news to tell you guys!!  So much is going on!
