I apologize for the belated post. It’s midterm; as per usual, life has become a bit hectic.
Aside from writing, studying, writing and studying, I’ve honestly done very little. I watched a movie once. There was a Super Bowl viewing party; I attended that for five minutes. There was a ‘ball’; it was swank.
I’m currently sitting inside of Goodbye Blue Mondays, listening to 60s pop. I’m supposed to be reviewing my Intro. to Anthropology notes; however, I’ve been staring at my nearly illegible handwriting for an hour—I think I deserve a small break, so here are some pictures:
Last Friday, my floor-mates decided to carve an ice sculpture.
When I asked what they were doing, they answered "making a dragon".
Being the cynic that I am, I answered "yeah right".
But they didn't let pessimism obstruct their vision; no, these boys had a dream, and they intended on fulfilling it.
So they carved.

And carved.

Until this was more or less the final result.

If I could take incredulity back, I wouldn't. I still can't believe they managed to make one, but, then again, I have little artistic skill and even worse spatial reasoning, so the only feasible creation from a block of ice I can envision is a smaller chunk of ice.
Back to studying.
