Suddenly and rather alarmingly, it's time for me to choose my courses for winter term.

In which I learn how not to go about doing work at college.

Yesterday, one of my guy friends borrowed a beret and glasses from a girl on my floor. He pulled the beret down over his eyebrows, perched the glasses on the end of his nose so that he could see over them, and set off for dinner, stopping and turning to listen whenever he heard the slightest sound from behind him. Paranoid delusions, or game of Assassins? Sometimes it's hard to tell...

One of the most interesting things about Carleton so far has been getting to know people from all over the country (and outside it). At first I didn't notice any differences between myself and my friends based on where we grew up, but recently there have been a few incidents that took me off guard.

Wow. It's only the beginning of my third week at Carleton, and so much has already happened that it's all kind of a blur. New Student Week seems like it was a decade ago, but it's the logical place to start this blog, so here goes...
