I'm a sophomore from Arlington, Massachusetts, where people still tell me how cold it is in Minnesota despite the fact that in Massachusetts we get nor’easters in April. I seem to be choosing between French, history and SOAN (Sociology/Anthropology) for my major, with a probable concentration in archaeology. When I'm not blogging, you might find me reading French poetry in upper Sayles with a cup of coffee, dancing ridiculously in Ebony II or social dance class, wandering around Northfield and exploring the hidden crevices of campus with friends, attempting to make movies like the romantic comedy I wrote with my current roommate, juggling fruit in the LDC, singing (in the shower or otherwise), lying out on the Bald Spot, or doing any number of random things that come up because of the crazy variety of life at Carleton (putting up political posters at midnight, having powdered paint smeared all over my face at Holi, sledding down the Bell Field hill on dining hall trays and frisbees, fishing off the Goodhue bridge).
