A Little Update
May 20, 2010 at 1:17 pmOkay, this is a boring post. But exciting stuff is coming.
A Visit from Toff
May 3, 2010 at 12:19 pmHe's sort of a celebrity at Carleton. Almost like a living Schiller, except much easier to find.
Perelandra and Crankhumdunberry
March 30, 2010 at 11:03 amCrankhumdunberry actually sounds much tastier than the title of the previous post.
Winter Ketchup
March 19, 2010 at 4:16 pmActually, Winter Ketchup does not sound very good. I keep picturing ketchup on snow, or frozen ketchup, or ketchup in eggnog... none of which are pleasant. It was supposed to be a pun about how I'm going to get you caught up with what I did over the winter, but it went horribly wrong. I apologize.
Spring
March 16, 2010 at 11:46 pmBuzzing flowers, colorful bees...
Still Alive
February 11, 2010 at 10:35 amRest assured: this blog is operational in temperatures up to 4000 degrees Kelvin. It's not going anywhere.
Farewell to the Leading 1
January 11, 2010 at 12:07 amIt's been fun,
Leading "1,"
But now we're done.
Now, from the blue:
A shiny new
Leading "2."Leonids and Neo-Futurists
November 17, 2009 at 3:35 pmCool fact: "vulnerability" and "indestructibility" both include all the letters in the word "turtle." That's not what this post is about, though.
A Brief Linguistic Note
November 10, 2009 at 5:23 pmFor those who are interested in that sort of thing.
Cantor, Whales, and Pumpkin Pie
November 6, 2009 at 2:40 pmFractional dimensions. Duct-tape whales. Awesome hats. Mysterious charts.
Everything you need for an awesome Halloween-themed post.
Supposery
October 26, 2009 at 10:27 pmYou may be wondering, at this point, where in the world I have been. I wish I could say something cool like "Budapest," but I think we'll have to save that one for next year. I've been right here in Northfield- which, don't get me wrong, is almost as cool as Budapest.

October 5, 2009 at 2:47 pmThis weekend was really busy. Normally, when I say that, I mean "I had a lot of homework this weekend." Well, I did have a lot of homework this weekend, but I was also really busy with other things- namely, going to a folk rock concert, learning about Contact Improvisation, playing Apples to Apples, watching the new and improved Version 1.5 of Liberal Arts: The Musical, and getting owned in the campus-wide Quiz Bowl tournament. AND, the New York Times talked about our blogs! Kind of!
