How are things going? I'm doing pretty well, though this week is very busy. I have a group presentation tomorrow and also tomorrow is my band, The Foreverills', second and last show! Our bassist and the band's founder, Peter, is transferring next year! But the show will be a blast I think. We'll be playing some of the songs we played at Battle of the Bands (Yertle the Turtle!) and some new songs as well.
Last weekend was Spring Concert, a huge campus event that transformed the field behind the rec center into a huge festival-like area. It was quite interesting and made a whole different atmosphere. I didn't go for the whole thing, but those who did seemed to enjoy all of the bands. I didn't know about any of the bands, but the two sets that I saw were pretty entertaining.
Brother Ali and D.J. Snuggles. He had some very interesting points to make, and although I didn't agree with everything he said, I appreciated how he tried to reach deeper issues with his music. While writing this post, I was listening to a video of Brother Ali talking about hip hop which changed the way I thought about a lot of rap artists.
The weather recently has been pretty crazy. It's hard to believe that this is the same campus as the one we were on during Winter term. The temperatures have been in the nineties at some points and the humidity has been crazy! Fortunately, today is a bit cooler and yesterday was pretty pleasant as well. I don't really mind the heat too much anyways. Plus, the spring colors are gorgeous and the sun is shining.

The end of term is upon us and things are getting crazier and crazier. Fortunately, things will slow down after next Wednesday. Here is the state of my desk:
Seriously, I cleaned my desk completely off a few weeks ago! It's not clean anymore...

Wait, where did this come from? There's a hole in my blog! This is problematic. We can't allow the blog world and the real world to spill into each other because... I don't know what would happen actually. People will start talking about stuff that happened to them in real life!
Anyways, thanks for reading. Hope it was interesting. Me, I need to get going to work on my final projects. And maybe do something about fixing this hole in my blog. I wouldn't want the posts to fall out.
