Pictures from the game, as promised. I'm not actually in any of them, since I was playing right-side wing and thus very, very far away from the photographer (aka Macalester's coach).

We play against St. Olaf this weekend, wish me luck!!

Hey! I’m Liz Low, a junior originally from Minnetonka, MN. I’m a psychology major, and when I’m not in the basement of Hulings studying the anatomy of sheep brains or observing the behavior of Northfield preschool kids, I’m chillin somewhere else on campus. I’m often on 4th libe (library, in non-Carl speak), because it’s always busy on a weekday night and it’s the perfect place to not do homework. I play for the women’s rugby team, which takes me far and wide across Minnesota and the surrounding states to play exotic teams such as Macalester and UW River Falls. I also work at the Admissions office (so I may have even met some of you already!) and as a research assistant for one of my favorite psychology professors. His research is crazy interesting, so you’ll probably hear a lot about that this year. I’m also the president of Phase II, Carleton’s group for multiracial and multicultural students. I try to dance in Ebony II (Carleton’s student-run dance troupe) as much as I can, because it’s the perfect outlet for all the ridiculous energy that builds up during study sessions at the libe. Carleton is an amazing place to be, and hopefully you’ll enjoy the little slice of the pie I get to show you! Peace out yo. |
