So with midterms being last week I probably had not been getting as much sleep as I should have been, nor eating as much spinach as I should have been, so now I am unfortunately sick. I had planned to go on another adventure tonight and forage into the quintessential Carleton experiences I had not yet experienced, but instead I'm in bed at 9:30 with some Sudafed, a big bottle of water, and last night's episode of Lost to watch before going to bed early. SO in the hopes that next week I will have a much more exciting, much more healthy-immune-system-filled post, I will share with you tonight one revelation and a few pictures for your perusal.
Revelation: Morning classes are magical. Not in the sense that I have to wake up at 7:00 and suck down massive amounts of coffee and an omelet (made to order of course) before my 8:15 lab, and not in the sense that I need go to bed super early the night before said classes otherwise I quite resemble the Grouch from Sesame Street the next day, but in the fact that when you do happen to wake up a 7:00 in the morning, and it snowed the night before, and no one else is awake, and the world is quiet, and everything smells like chocolate chip cookies thanks to the Malt-o-Meal factory in town, campus looks like this:

Pretty, no? Almost makes you forget that you're up at 7am!
On a much less picturesque note, I recently acquired a really strong, bright green laser pointer from my friend's room and have been having A LOT of fun, confusing people by shining it onto the snow from my bedroom window. Hey, we can't all be mature ALL of the time, right?
Here's to your health! Hoping it's better than mine.

Hope you feel better soon. My Carl was sick last week and is better now except for a nagging cough. I wish my Carl would get up early for an 8:15 class. I understand it is more like 8.
