Welcome back to "Spring Term."
This term I'm taking Modern Dance Tuesday and Thursday mornings in the Weitz Center. It's quite a workout.
Our first Convocation speaker of the term was Annie Houle from The WAGE Project, an organization established to end discrimination against women in the American workplace.
One of Carleton's best kept secrets is Convo Lunch, where you sign up and eat a super nice lunch with the speaker. I plan to do this a lot this term.
And no term is complete without homework. Here's a study carrel on Third Libe.
And here's another Carleton secret: empty classrooms are another great place to study. This is one in Sayles, so it's pretty well-known, but try checking out ones in Weitz or Leighton if you want a quiet place to study in a large room.
