Our Introduction to Rhetoric teacher brought in a few treats for the last day of class.
Working at Admissions = best job ever. Next year, I'll be working in the Admissions Office as an office assistant and a tour guide.
Two finals and a paper and I'm out.
That's it. That's freshman year. On September 9, the day before move-in Fall Term, I could have never imagined a first year like this. Embarrassingly enough, after graduating high school I made a list of everything I wanted to do during my freshman year and didn't achieve a single thing on it - I don't know what my major will be (and I'm worried by the time I decide, I won't be able to finish it in time), I didn't participate in Carleton traditions like Silent Dance Party, Assassins, or Broomball, and I never picked up a frisbee.
At the risk of sounding cliche, I did, however, make incredible relationships, step way, way out of my comfort zone on multiple occasions, and felt at home. Carleton, I'm glad I chose you. Thank you for a great first year.
