Hey, my name's Nate and I'm a senior here at Carleton. I'm originally from a ranch in western South Dakota (really, a ranch) where coyotes outnumber people by a healthy margin. I'm majoring in Sociology/Anthropology with a concentration in Educational Studies and as a senior facing my rapidly approaching graduation I fluctuate hourly between feeling elation and dread over entering the "real" world soon. Those drastic swings are tiring, let me tell you. Outside of class I'm active in a mentoring program with my 10-year-old buddy and work as an RA in the townhouses. In my free time I can probably be found running, drinking coffee, making lists, clandestinely watching trashy reality television, cleaning my house, complaining about the weather, and/or trying to absorb every minute of my last year at Carleton.
