Study break at the Libe

Cookies and milk were served while stories were read to students over midterm break. College President Poskanzer made an appearance later on in the day and read as well.

GREEN WEEK! CAMPING ON THE MINI-BALDSPOT!

Its 6th week here at Carleton and Green Week posters are plastered everywhere. Student groups take advantage of the week to highlight decisions students can make to conserve energy and cut down on waste.

Religious Service

I attended a Quaker religious service with a friend in the Chapel. It was interesting and even more peaceful as a new layer of snow had blanketed the ground that day.

    I'm very intrigued by the flower photo. Your use of depth of field really gives the viewer a sense of ambiguous disconnect. Also the decision to photograph a dead rose brings some nice subtle undertones of lust and mortality to the picture. Keep up the good work.
