Every residential hall (those populated by freshmen at least) has a hall dinner put together by their RA’s. Having a theme for these dinners is not required but it does add some excitement to the event. Being the exciting bunch of RA’s that my staff is, having a theme was never a question, the true dilemma was deciding what the theme would be? We went through many ideas some including an aquatic paradise (where I would serve as the queen of course), a birthday theme, a winter wonderland, animal farm, and some other crazy ideas. After many intellectual brawls we decided to make our dinner a tribute to none other than Paul Bunyan. Yes you read correctly, we had evergreen as center pieces and a staff dressed in flannel. Being that we are easily the best looking and most charismatic staff on campus we decided to also raffle off dates with ourselves. The dates ranged from rock climbing with one RA to making cappuccinos with me (I have an espresso machine because my mom REALLY loves me). Enjoy the photos of our rustic experience.
