June

Souvenir of an unforgettable off-campus study program, these shells decorate a bowl-shaped percussion instrument handcrafted in Mali. The instrument is held with both hands and shaken or twisted, causing the shells to clack rhythmically against the bowl.

Francophone Studies in Mali is just one of many global adventures offered through Off-Campus Studies.

Education a-go-go.

For a mostly flat place, Carleton College has an incredible view. You can see London, Tanzania, and Australia from here. Peru, the South Pacific, D.C., and Tianjin too.

Thanks to our Off-Campus Studies program, some of Carleton's best classrooms are halfway across the world. Last year Carleton students studied on over 100 different off-campus programs in nearly 50 countries. By the time they graduate, over 70% of Carls have spent at least one term off-campus.

Pick a subject, pick a destination--from economics in Cambridge to dance in Jamaica. You can get there from here.
