Studio Art

Studio Art promotes a balance between learning technique and discovering artistic vision. Boliou Hall has studios for drawing, painting, printmaking (etching, lithography, silk screen), bookmaking, sculpture (wood, welding, plaster), metal arts, ceramics, and photography (black and white, color, digital). Classes are supplemented with visits from professional artists and field trips to local and regional museums and galleries. Carleton offers an art seminar in Australia and New Zealand, and participation in other off-campus programs is encouraged.

You can major in this subject.
