A varied curriculum, extensive extracurricular activities, and ample opportunity for study in France and Africa highlight the program. Introductory courses focus on mastering the reading, understanding, speaking, and writing of French. Advanced-level work includes French studies, literature, film, and interdisciplinary seminars. Students can live in Parish House, which is directed by a native speaker and offers immersion in the language and culture. Faculty members lead off-campus study in Paris and Mali.
