By Air

The Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport is approximately 45 minutes from campus with daily service from many destinations. We recommend that you arrange ground transportation prior to your arrival, because availability differs. Options include:

• Airport Car Service: The Admissions Office offers limited transportation to and from the airport on a set schedule. This airport car runs from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday and Monday. This service is offered throughout the academic year, when overnight stays are available. The cost is $10 per rider, each way. You will need to make arrangements with the Admissions Office at least one week prior to your arrival/departure date to use this service.

By Car

From the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport:

• Exit the airport outbound roadway and follow the signs for I-494 West.
• Go west on I-494 to I-35W South.
• Take I-35W South to Highway 19 East (Exit 69, Northfield exit).
• Drive east on Highway 19 for 7 miles to Northfield.
• At the first stop light (where Highway 19 meets Highway 3), turn left and drive north for 3 blocks to 2nd Street.
• Turn right and drive east on 2nd Street, continuing up the hill.
• Turn left at College Street, which takes you directly into the campus.
• The Admissions office is located in Johnson House at the intersection of First and College Streets.

By Bus

• Jefferson Lines travels to Northfield from select Midwestern destinations, but the drop-off is 7 miles from campus. 
• Greyhound Bus Lines travels to Minneapolis.

By Train

•  Amtrak trains stop in St. Paul.
