About the AAF
The Alumni Annual Fund (AAF) was created in 1988 by a group of alumni who believe that alumni should have an active role in the support of the College. The AAF is owned by alumni volunteers, who serve in a number of capacities, and is supported by a paid staff. Peer solicitation is the focus of and key to the success of the AAF. While most institutions depend to some degree on volunteer support, none boasts the level of ownership that Carleton's alumni volunteers—well over 600 strong—have assumed in raising unrestricted dollars for the AAF.
