Schwarz's study is supported by a fellowship from Carleton, as well as by the Natural Capital Project (whose partners include Stanford University's Woods Institute of the Environment, the Nature Conservancy, and the World Wildlife Fund) and the University of British Columbia. Her work will help the Natural Capital Project and the University of British Columbia use such data to assist communities and governments in making land management decisions.
