Why Give?
There are as many reasons to give as there are alumni. Gifts to the Alumni Annual Fund help furnish the resources needed to transform today’s students into tomorrow’s leaders who have the analytical skills and breadth of knowledge to change the world.
Your gift:
- provides access to students by partially funding financial aid. Carleton meets the full demonstrated need of every accepted student.
- pays for academic resources, including faculty salaries, cutting edge technology, and facilities.
- offsets the total cost of a Carleton education. Full tuition covers less than half of what it really costs to attend Carleton. Just as when you were in school, gifts from alumni help make up the difference and provide each and every student with a “hidden scholarship.”
- demonstrates your belief in the liberal arts mission. Alumni participation in the fund is a measurable indicator of alumni satisfaction which helps the College secure gifts from other sources.
