The Alumni Affairs Office is excited to offer you the chance to experience the Stratford Shakespeare Festival with English professor Frank Morral.
THE WEEKEND
The Stratford Shakespeare Festival takes place in Stratford, Ontario, Canada and provides a variety of plays in four different theaters. Our weekend will feature the opportunity for you to attend up to seven plays. You will be able to choose which performances you wish to attend by completing the reservation form (in the blue box to the right) and returning it to the Carleton Alumni Affairs Office.
Our weekend will formally begin with dinner on Thursday. Arrangements will be made for early arrivals who wish to attend a play on Thursday afternoon. Throughout the weekend Prof. Morral will be our guide and join us in discussions about the plays, theaters, and authors. For more details, click on the trip schedule in the blue box on the right.
ACCOMMODATIONS
A block of rooms has been reserved at The River Garden Inn in Stratford at a room rate of $159 per night. FACULTY
Frank Morral, the William R. Kenan Jr. Professor Of English, emeritus, joined the Carleton English Department in 1964. Morral taught courses about Shakespeare's works, and directed a production of The Winter's Tale for the Carleton Players. He is a veteran leader of alumni trips and regularly receives rave reviews.
