Frequently Asked Questions

When should I arrive?

Generally we suggest volunteers arrive on campus by Noon on Friday, August 23. When you get to campus, please visit the Registration Desk on the first floor of the Weitz Center for Creativity (located at 3rd Street East and College Street) to pick up your room assignment, key, resident hall access card, and CAVE materials.

If you are arriving before 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 22 - check in at the Alumni Relations Office in Bird House, located at 400 E. First Street (corner of First & College Sts) across from the Chapel.

Late ArrivalsIf you arrive after 6 p.m. on Thursday or Friday, Security Services will have your key and residence hall access card. To arrange pickup, call them at 507-222-4444; they will pick up your call on their two-way radio and arrange a time and place to meet you. There is a campus phone located outside the Student Activities Office in Sayles-Hill, and from that phone you can dial x4444. You can pick up your other materials after 8 a.m. on Friday or Saturday at the registration desk in the Weitz Center for Creativity.
