Classmate Memories of a Prior 50th Reunion
Several of our classmates have attended a prior 50th reunion because of spouses or other personal connections. They were invited to share their memories of that reunion. Their responses are provided below.
I attended the reunion of the class of ’58, heard high praise for its Memorial Program for the deceased, and look forward to our own memorial program. I have lost four of my five roommates and several especially cherished friends. I learned of most of their deaths in a less than ideal way, either through the grape vine or by accident years after the event. Our reunion will provide an opportunity, then, not only for a chance to reestablish relations with those who will attend but also to gain better closure on memories of some who will not.
