Saturday, April 26th: Hands-on-DC Work-A-Thon, Location Assignment TBA, http://handsondc.kintera.org/carletoncollegedc
Hands on DC's annual work-a-thon is an all-volunteer project that creates better schools and brighter futures for students in the District of Columbia. Thousands of volunteers have a great time each spring as they join together to improve conditions in the public schools and raise money for college scholarships. Since 1994, more than 26,000 volunteers have created a better environment for learning in more than 120 schools and have collected more than $500,000 to help local students pay for further education. Join us to help improve a school on Saturday the 26th! To register and/or contribute (we greatly value your participation regardless of whether or not you contribute), see the website above. Bring your friends and family to this fun event!
