Please join Carleton alums, parents, friends, and families for a Saturday afternoon Detroit Tigers game against the New York Yankees on April 6!  We have reserved 20 seats for our group.

At the December Michigan Carleton Club holiday party, attendees were invited to vote on which game they wanted to see. This one won by a narrow margin. It’s the Tigers’ second home game of the season! Tickets are also, surprisingly, somewhat less expensive than those for the No. 2 vote-getter, a late-July game against the Philadelphia Phillies. Our seats are on the right-field side of home plate and this is April in Michigan, so dress warmly.

The game starts at 4:30 p.m. We’ll gather at the home of Kathryn and Jim Treece ’75 in Detroit’s Lafayette Park district at 2:45-3:15, then head over to Comerica Park, about a 20 minute walk, at 3:30. If you’d rather meet us at the ballpark, meet at the entrance across from the Elwood Grill at 3:45-3:50.

Tickets: $28 per ticket. Jim has purchased 20 tickets for this event. To reserve your place (first-come-first-served), please send Jim a check made out to “Jim Treece.” Contact Jim with any questions, for further information or directions.
