Underscore Theatre Company, founded by four Carleton alumni, is proud to announce the world premiere of "Liberal Arts: The Musical!"  The production was created and workshopped at Carleton in the spring of 2009 and now comes to life at The Second Stage in Chicago.

The musical follows five freshmen and one senior as they navigate their way through life, love, and deconstruction theory at Secular Liberal Arts College (SLAC), only to find that their expensive education has left them flush with student loans and short on, well, "practical experience."  Meet Kevin, Natalie, Brandon, Neil, Sam, and Moxie as they delve into "Bromance," get "Sexiled," and try, once and for all, to figure out the "Derivative of Love."

In order to celebrate the company's and the show's Carleton roots, we're hosting a special Carleton night on Friday, May 11th at 8pm.

Cost:  $17 per ticket.  Use the code CARL at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/233309 to purchase your ticket and you'll receive a 15% discount ($17 instead of $20).  Also, we'll host a talk-back after the show with the actors, writers, and producers.

If you have questions, contact Stephanie Lee ’04.  If you need assistance, contact the Alumni Relations Office at 800-729-2586 or alumni-office@carleton.edu
