Lauren will give a talk on van Gogh, specifically focusing on the works in the exhibit, at the Tabor Center. After this talk and any questions, we will travel a short distance to visit the DAM and the exhibit with our visiting Carleton expert. We have tickets for the 3 pm entrance to the exhibit itself. For those interested, early dinner and drinks will be arranged following the event.
Lauren Soth taught art history at Carleton from 1964 to 2004, including seminars on van Gogh. He has published several scholarly articles on the artist. Lauren will be accompanied in Denver by his wife, Nancy.
