The New York Carleton Club Invites You to

Festival Chamber Music

Thursday, March 26, 2015, 8 p.m.

Weill Recital Hall
154 West 57th Street, New York

Join your fellow Carleton alumni for an evening of outstanding music at the very special discounted ticket price of $30. Following the concert, you are invited to a party where you can meet the musicians and socialize with other Carleton alumni.

The performers, who are known for the exuberance of their performances and their warm interaction with audiences, give informal and entertaining anecdotes about each piece and the composer. Whether you are already a fan of chamber music or if you would just like to try something new, we guarantee you will have a memorable evening!

  • Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) Brandenburg Concerto #3 in G Major, BWV 1048 (arr. for Harp Quartet by M.L. Williams)
  • Gideon Klein (1919-1945) String Trio
  • Alfredo Ortiz (1946- ) Cumbia Deliciosa / Cuban Dream after the Storm (World Premiere)
  • Johannes Brahms (1833-1897) Piano Quartet in G Minor, Op. 25

Cost:  Tickets are $30. All the seats reserved for Carls are next to one another, so we will all be gathered during the concert. In addition, we will have name tags available so everyone can easily identify one another.

To order your tickets call 212-678-6970 and mention this special Carleton offer, or
click here and include the promocode CAR326.

The tickets will be held at will call. Carleton alumni can pick up their tickets at the Carnegie Hall main box office between 4:00 and 7:00 on the day of the concert OR between 7:00 and 8:00 at the Weill Hall box office on the night of the concert. The entrance to Weill Hall is to the left of the main entrance to Carnegie Hall.  These concerts always sell out, so order your tickets as soon as possible.
