"How to Talk About Vibrating Air Molecules: A Crash Course in Music Theory"

Everyone wants to understand and share music, but some people find words lacking when they attempt to come to terms with the musical experiences they love most. Interested in becoming more skilled in your musical vocabulary?

Join Professor of Music Jeff Treviño for the last Downtown Luncheon of the 2014-2015 academic year and enjoy his presentation "How to Talk About Vibrating Air Molecules: A Crash Course in Music Theory". With examples, he will introduce basic vocabulary in music theory with the aim of enabling listeners to describe what's going on in the music they love.

Cost: $10 (includes lunch)
