Hanan Heakal '88, Diversity & Inclusion Leader for Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa, Procter & Gamble, will be our speaker this month, and will talk about the evolving and dramatic political, economic and social situation in Egypt, particularly in light of the recent presidential elections, and will share her thoughts about what lies ahead for the ‘new Egypt’. Hanan has lived in Cairo since soon after graduating from Carleton and will offer us a unique “on the ground” perspective of events in Egypt during and since revolution of early 2011.
