The All-School Picnic is a Houston Carleton Club annual tradition, and this year's will represent our fourteenth! It's a great opportunity for all members of the Houston Carleton community to come together for sharing, conversation, and great food!

Please come to share your first-hand knowledge of being a first year student or parent to ease the transition for the new students and their families!

The ideal event for you! Grade school kids enjoy helping with the balloons, and toddlers can run around at whim.
Graduate students (Yes! We now have at least two at Rice!)
Priced right for even the tightest budget!

As you know from previous years, this is a wonderfully laid-back, casual event to catch up with old friends and make new ones!

Cost:
Free! We have enough supplies left over from previous years! Ice cold bottled water, paper plates, paper napkins and plastic "silverware" will be supplied.

Directions
The picnic will be at a newly developed section of Hermann Park south of Braes Bayou and north of the VA Hospital.
From the Medical Center: Go west on Holcombe Boulevard to Almeda Road. Turn left on Almeda (at the Dominican Sisters) and left again into the parking lot.
From 288 going north: Exit at Yellowstone Boulevard (first exit north of Loop 610). Follow the signs to Holcombe. Turn left on Holcombe, crossing over the highway. Go about .6 mile to Almeda (first street past the Dominican Sisters). Turn right, then left into the parking lot.
From 288 going south: Exit at Holcombe Boulevard. Turn right, and go about .6 mile to Almeda (first street past the Domincan Sisters). Turn right, then left into the parking lot.
Look for the maize and blue balloons!
