Tour of Marston House

Tour the Marston House with the San Diego Carleton Club!

11 am to approximately 1 pm

Tour the San Diego Historical Society’s George White and Anna Gunn Marston House. Designed in 1905 by San Diego architects Irving Gill and William Hebbard, the house was built for local businessman, philanthropist and civic leader George Marston and his family. Rachel Carpenter ’02 will lead the tour of the house following a brief presentation about the Marston family’s connection to Carleton. Arrive at 11 am for light refreshments; presentation will begin at 11:30. We will gather on the lawn next to the house. Look for the Carleton balloons!

Admission is $4 (SDHS members receive free admission)

From the North:

CA-163 South to University Avenue exit. Stay on 6th Avenue. Turn left on Upas Street, then left on Seventh Avenue.

I-5 south to I-8 east to CA-163 south. Take University Avenue exit. Remain on 6th Avenue. Turn left on Upas Street, then left on Seventh Avenue.

From the South:
