TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION FOR VOLUNTEERS

If you are flying to Minneapolis, please make your own transportation arrangements between the airport and campus. If you are thinking about submitting your travel expenses for gift credit or reimbursement, the College will credit or reimburse up to $85 for your round-trip airport-to-Northfield expenses.

Care©Tenders, Inc. - - 24-hour advance reservations preferred. Cost is $84 for round-trip rides between Northfield and the airport. Cash, check, and major credit cards accepted. Locally owned and operated. Once reservations have been made there will be a $25 cancellation fee if the cancellations is made less than 24 hours in advance. Archer Limousine - - 48-hour advance reservations required. Cost is $92 each way between Northfield and the airport. Major Credit cards accepted. For reservations, call 877-503-9482 or go online to www.archerlimo.com. Once reservations have been made there is a 12-hour cancellation policy. If you reserve a shuttle by phone, tell them you are a Carleton College alumni volunteer. If you reserve online, please relay the above information in the comment section of the reservation form.

Car Rental - - Car rental is available from many different companies at Minneapolis/ St. Paul International Airport and is sometimes the least-expensive option. If you are interested, please contact any of car rental companies directly.
