Food Truth at Carleton

By Amelia Harris

What's everyone on campus talking about? Food. Where are we eating?  What are we eating? Are you a vegetarian? A vegan? A flexitarian?  What does the Carleton Student Farm grow?  How can we get some produce?  What are food workers’ conditions in Northfield?  In Minnesota? In the United States?

All these questions are discussed and tackled every week at Carleton by Food Truth.  Food Truth is Carleton’s one and only sustainable food advocacy group.  We discuss all the issues and get out there to make change for the better.  Check out our blog (http://carletonfoodtruth.blogspot.com/) and see what Carleton students are doing with food.

We've also set up a listserve for students, alumni, faculty, and staff to join in on the discussion! To subscribe to our listserve, just send an e-mail to sympa@lists.carleton.edu, with "SUBSCRIBE foodknights@lists.carleton.edu" in the subject line.

We'd love to hear from you!  Contact Amelia Harris '12 (harrisa@carleton.edu) if you are interested in working with us!
