SUBJECT:  Search Update


We are delighted to report that the search for Carleton’s next president is progressing on schedule. The search committee met most recently on Saturday, February 13, and began to select candidates whose backgrounds and experiences seem especially consistent with the qualities and qualifications established for the Carleton presidency. The committee concluded its meeting by choosing a small number of candidates who will be invited to confidential preliminary interviews off-campus with the search committee in early March. 

We are pleased with the quality of the candidate pool and have every reason to believe that our search will come to a successful conclusion.
