About CFAN
The Carleton Feminist Alumni Network (CFAN) is an informal group of Carleton alumni, students, staff, and faculty who are active feminists and are committed to feminist ideals.
Open to alumni and current students, the Carleton Feminist Alumni Network provides online venues for the discussion of ideas and activism, networking, issue forums, and updates of current issues of interest to feminists. In addition, regional subset groups of the Carleton Feminist Alumni Network may sponsor local events and gatherings.
The Carleton Feminist Alumni Network is also member-driven: topics that we deal with will be those suggested by members.
Who Can Join?
Any alum, student, staff member, or faculty member of Carleton College (of any gender) who is involved in feminism and feminist activism may join CFAN. If you were active with feminism in college but haven't been for years, if you always wanted to be more active, if you're having trouble fitting feminism into your current life, or if feminism is a major part of your current life - CFAN is a place to share stories and ideas for activism, to increase your feminist activism, and to talk about how and whether we can live our ideals.
