Office of Alumni Relations
Sarah '93 oversees alumni relations for Carleton College and directs the activities of the office. Specific responsibilities include supervision of reunion planning and support for the 25th and post-55th reunion classes, oversight of Reunion and the Carleton Alumni Volunteer Experience, and planning the annual Reunion Convocation and Alumni College programs. In addition, she provides strategic direction, coordination and support for Carleton's Alumni Council, oversees the production of the Alumni E-News and other alumni communications, and manages the International Alumni Adventures program.
Emily '08 works with the 5th, 15th, 30th, and 35th Reunion programming committees, and coordinates the Bill Huyck '53 5k Arb Run/Walk and the 'C' Club Hall of Fame luncheon and induction ceremony. She serves as the primary staff liaison to the Multicultural Alumni Network Board of Directors and the 'C' Club Board of Directors, providing strategic direction and assistance in program planning. She is responsible for overseeing generational alumni engagement, assists with volunteer recruitment, communication, retention, and recognition strategies, and provides structural and technical oversight for the Carleton Alumni Network website as well as web content management. Emily supports the Carleton Clubs program.
Catie '10 works with the 40th, 50th, and 55th reunion programming committees and scheduling campus tours and coordinating and training student staff during Reunion weekend. She supports student-alumni relations including student leadership recruitment and oversight of student-focused events. She provides project management and assessment of life-long learning opportunities and programs, including the Carleton Connects series, social media strategies for volunteer and alumni communications, and web content management.
Aliza works with the 10th, 20th, and 40th Reunion programming committees and coordinates the Oneg Shabat and Alumni Interfaith Service of Remembrance and Celebration during Reunion. She supports the Carleton Clubs program and coordinates class newsletters. Aliza provides strategic direction for Carleton's mini-reunion program and also coordinates the Domestic Alumni Adventures Program.
Erin coordinates and produces Reunion weekend, including all event setups, logistical details, provides oversight of the Camp Carleton and Teen programs, management of vendor relationships and provides oversight for reunion student staff recruitment, supervision and training. She serves as the primary staff liaison to the Out After Carleton board, giving strategic direction and program planning. She coordinates other Alumni Relations special events and programs, including the Carleton Alumni Volunteer Experience, supports the Awards and Nominations committee of Alumni Council. Erin provides strategic direction and support for student to young alumni programming as well as supervises and trains the Administrative Assistant for Reunion communications and student office workers.
Jeanne provides administrative support for Alumni Relations. She is responsible for the production of club announcements and for maintaining club records, supports the domestic Alumni Adventures program, and assists with major mailings. She provides oversight for all Reunion and Carleton Alumni Volunteer Experience housing, assists with Reunion registration, and manages Bird House, Carleton's Alumni Relations welcome center on campus.
Alumni Relations Administrative Assistant
Beth works part-time for both Alumni Relations and Summer Academic Programs. For Alumni Relations, Beth works on reunion registration, reunion class communications, and provides overall administrative support for the office.
