Office of Alumni Relations
Sarah '93 is responsible for coordinating and directing the overall activities of the office. Specific responsibilities include supervision of reunion planning and support for the 25th and post-50th reunion classes, oversight of Reunion and the Carleton Alumni Volunteer Experience, and planning the annual Reunion Convocation and Alumni College programs. In addition, she provides coordination and support of the Carleton Alumni Council, Alumni E-News, Twin Cities faculty lunch series coordination, and the Alumni Adventures program.
Stefanie '01 works with the 40th, 45th, and 50th reunion committees, coordinates the Reunion alumni book signing, as well as arboretum and sustainability coordination. She supports the Carleton Clubs program (including clubs in Boston, Colorado, New York, Seattle, and Washington DC), collaborates with the Career Center on career-related alumni programming, and works with classes planning mini-reunions. She also provides strategic direction for process improvements and serves as Advancement Services and Twin Cities Business network liaison.
Emily '08 works with the 5th, 15th, 30th, and 35th Reunion programming committees, and coordinates the Bill Huyck '53 5k Arb Run/Walk and the 'C' Club Hall of Fame luncheon and induction ceremony. She serves as the primary staff liaison to the Multicultural Alumni Network Board of Directors and the 'C' Club Board of Directors, providing strategic direction and assistance in program planning. She is responsible for overseeing generational alumni engagement, assists with volunteer recruitment, communication, retention, and recognition strategies, supports the Class Correspondents program, and provides structural and technical oversight for the Carleton Alumni Network website as well as web content management. Emily supports the Carleton Clubs program (including clubs in the Bay Area, Chicago, Los Angeles, Portland, and the Twin Cities).
Catie '10 works with the 10th, 20th programming committees and 55th reunion programming and gift committees, Reunion chapel service, alumni choir, and Carleton Open golf tournament. She supports student-alumni relations including Reunion student staff recruitment and training, student leadership recruitment, and oversight of student-focused events. She provides project management and assessment of life-long learning opportunities and programs, including the Carleton Connects series, social media strategies for volunteer and alumni communications, and web content management.
Erin coordinates and produces Reunion weekend, including all event setups, logistical details, provides oversight of the Camp Carleton and Teen programs, management of vendor relationships and provides oversight for reunion student staff recruitment, supervision and training. She serves as the primary staff liaison to the Out After Carleton board, giving strategic direction and program planning. She coordinates other Alumni Relations special events and programs, including the Carleton Alumni Volunteer Experience, serves as project manager for communications and activities of the Alumni Council and other volunteer boards and affinity groups. Erin provides strategic direction and support for student to young alumni programming as well as supervises and trains the Administrative Assistant for Reunion communications and student office workers.
Jeanne provides administrative support to the office staff. She is responsible for the production of 200+ annual club announcements and maintains all the records on the Carleton Club network and events, production of the Twin Cities E-news, and assists with other major mailings. She provides oversight for all Reunion and Carleton Alumni Volunteer Experience housing as well as assistance with Reunion registration in addition to managing Bird House, the Alumni Relations on-campus location.
