Reunion Housing

During Reunion 2007, on-campus housing was completely full. If you are planning to attend Reunion 2008 we strongly recommend registering as early as possible (registration opens in early March) for the best chance to be housed on campus. Single rooms are limited.

Various housing options are available for alumni attending Reunion. For those who prefer to stay on campus, reunion classes will be housed together in residence halls whenever possible. Rooms are assigned in order of reservations received. If you plan to room someone you will be assigned a room when both your registration and your roommate(s)' registration(s) have been received. If your registration form and payment were submitted online or postmarked by May 1, you will receive a confirmation of your residence hall assignment in advance.

Families: If you request more than two beds for your family (adults plus children), you may be assigned an additional room, since most rooms are doubles with two twin beds. To limit your family to a single room (and leave more rooms for your classmates), choose the "without linen packet or bed" option for children when you register, and bring sleeping bags for them. We welcomed 300 children to reunion last year!

On-campus check-in for Reunion 2008 begins Thursday, June 19, at 3 p.m. Residence halls will not be open before that time (facilities staff are working hard up to that time to clean out all the halls following Commencement on June 14). Check-out is noon on Sunday, June 22.

Residence hall accommodations feature bathrooms down the hall from your room (except Davis, Severance, and Evans, which have private/semi-private baths). A linen packet, including sheets, blanket, pillow, and towels, is provided for each bed. Residence halls are not air-conditioned (except Davis, Nourse, Watson, and the townhouses); all beds are twin-sized. We encourage you to bring the following items that are not available in the rooms: reading lamp, hangers, small fan, and alarm clock. Cribs are not available, nor are irons. Some fans are available for rent at registration in Sayles-Hill.

A list of hotels and campgrounds in the greater Northfield area is available on our site. If you make reservations at a hotel in Northfield, we recommend you request written confirmation of your reservation and reconfirm prior to Reunion. If you are staying off campus, please note on your registration form where you will be staying in case we or your classmates need to contact you. For more information about Northfield, including a virtual tour, visit the Northfield Chamber of Commerce web site.

Pet policy

Pets are not allowed in College housing. Several local boarding facilities are available with Sunday pickup options. Call the alumni affairs office staff at 800-729-2586 for more details.
