Second Annual Northfield Film Festival

Beat the heat and enjoy a summer movie! This years' series are four Hitchcock films; free and open to the public.

This event takes place each week on Tuesday from July 9th, 2013 to July 30th, 2013.

The Cannon Valley Elder Collegium and Carleton College are again pleased to offer the Northfield Film Festival. The first movie, Vertigo, with James Stewart and Kim Novak, is on July 9. The others are Shadow of a Doubt, July 16; North by Northwest, July 23; and Psycho, July 30.

Each movie will be followed the morning after by a seminar led by faculty experts, 9:30-11:30 AM, also at the Weitz Center. Registration for these seminars begins on June 15 at the Northfield Senior Center, and $25 covers all four movies. The first seminar will be led by Carol Donelan, Chair of Cinema and Media Studies, Carleton.
