Grace Gilmore fired a final-round, four-over par 77, helping herself and the Knights to rally for victories in the Carleton Invitational. Ziyi Wang was one shot back of Gilmore, her third consecutive second-place finish this spring.

The Carleton College men’s tennis team certainly has a flair for the dramatic as the Knights rallied from a 3-0 deficit after doubles and defeated Saint John’s University, 5-4 on Sunday. This was the sixth time this season that the Knights had erased a post-doubles deficit to secure the team victory.

The Carleton College baseball team limited St. Scholastica to only four hits—all singles—but the Knights were unable to come away with a win, losing a hard fought pitchers’ duel, 2-1, in the squad’s final non-conference action of the spring.

It was Senior Day at Ele Hansen Field as the Carleton College softball team saluted the careers of its three seniors: Keelin Davis, Nicole Magats, and Emily Starr. Unfortunately, the Knights were not able to celebrate with a victory as visiting Gustavus Adolphus College left town with victories by scores of 5-2 and 8-2.

Seniors Mikayla Becich, Grace Davis, and Joyce Yu each won in both singles and doubles to lead the Carleton College women’s tennis team to a 7-2 road victory over national No. 36 Gustavus Adolphus College. With the win, the Knights clinched a share of the MIAC regular-season title. This is Carleton’s sixth conference crown and third over the last five seasons.

The Carleton College baseball team earned a split against Gustavus Adolphus College on Saturday as the Knights now hold a 7-9 record in the MIAC. After being shut out in the first game and by a final score of 5-0, the Knights turned the tables on the Gusties in game two with a 4-0 victory.
