    Women's Golf: Geraldine Tellbuescher Picks Up Second MIAC Weekly Award

    In a historic season for the Carleton College women's golf team, Geraldine Tellbuescher added her name to the record books while sharing medalist honors and leading her team to victory at the UW-Eau Claire Spring Invitational. Tellbuescher became the first Carleton woman, and possibly the first MIAC woman, to break 70 in a single round to rally for a first-place individual tie. For her performance, Tellbuescher was honored with her second MIAC Women's Golf Athlete-of-the-Week award of 2014-15.

    Football: Knights Volunteer at Meals on Wheels

    The Carleton College varsity football team strives for balance in academics, athletics, and social involvement. For the fourth consecutive year, the Knights football squad organized and volunteered for the local Meals on Wheels program by taking time out of their day to deliver meals to Northfield community members.

    Baseball: Knights Cut Down LumberJacks to Win Season Finale

    The Carleton College baseball team closed the 2015 campaign with an 8-3 victory at Northland (Wis.) College. The Knights collected 13 hits—all singles—and got a stellar performance from the bullpen to secure the win and finish the year on a three-game win streak.

    Baseball: Offense Erupts in Sweep at Lawrence

    One day after struggling to get its offense going, the Carleton College baseball team must have found some new lumber as the Knights pounded out 47 hits en route to scoring 35 times in a doubleheader sweep of host Lawrence (Wis.) University. Cody Bohlman smacked two home runs in the opener at Whitting Field, and Hayden Tsutsui did the same in the nightcap at Fox Cities Stadium, host of the 2015 Division III NCAA Championships.

    Women's Golf: Near-Perfect Tellbuescher Wins, Leads Knights to Sixth Victory

    In a season full of highlights, records and victories, Geraldine Tellbuescher provided the most impressive one of all. The sophomore played a near-perfect round, posting a bogey-free, three-under par 69, erasing an 11-shot deficit to garner her first individual collegiate victory at the UW-Eau Claire Spring Invitational. Her effort helped propel the Knights to a final-round 305, good enough to rally for a 12-shot victory at 627. It marked Carleton’s sixth victory in eight tournaments this season.

    Baseball: Knights' Bats Start Fast, Slow Down in Losses at Concordia

    The Carleton College baseball team jumped out to early leads in both ends of Saturday’s doubleheader at Concordia College. Willie Freimuth led off the top of the first with a solo home run in game one, and Hayden Tsutsui did the same in game. The problem for the Knights is that they scored only two more runs on the day and were swept 15-1 and 4-3.

    Women's Track and Field: Amelia Campbell Wins Second Straight MIAC Heptathlon
