    Men's Basketball: Hanson, Webb named to NABC Honors Court

    Carleton College senior forwards Taylor Hanson (St. Paul, Minn./Minnehaha Academy) and Cameron Webb (Portland, Ore./Lincoln High School) were recently named to the Honors Court as selected by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). As a team, the Knights posted a 3.455 cumulative GPA during the 2013-14 academic year.

    Football: Swimming accident claims the life of De’Angelo Williams ’12

    The Carleton College community mourns the death of De’Angelo Williams ’12, who tragically drowned in a swimming accident on a western Wisconsin lake on Sunday, July 6.Williams, 24, was a political science and international relations major. He was also a three-year starter on the Knights football team, accumulating 74 tackles in 28 games to go along with five interceptions.

    Women's Tennis: Knights' 2014 Recruiting Class No. 20 in the Nation

    For the third in the last five seasons, the Carleton College women’s tennis team will bring in a national top-20 recruiting class, as ranked by TennisRecruiting.Net. The Knights, fresh off an undefeated conference season and third consecutive trip to the NCAA Championships, will welcome the talented first-years to the program as Carleton seeks to continue its recent success.

    Knights Take Home 34 Academic All-Conference Honors

    The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its 2013-14 Winter/Spring Academic All-Conference honorees today, with Carleton student athletes earning distinction 34 times. To qualify for recognition, student athletes must be a sophomore, junior, or senior, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

    Carleton Finishes 52nd in Director's Cup Standings

    Carleton College finished 52nd in the final standings of the 2013-14 Learfield Sports Directors' Cup, the prestigious award presented annually by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) to the best overall collegiate athletics programs in the country. A total of 448 Division III institutions compete for points in the standings.

    ‘C’ Club Hall of Fame to Welcome Four New Members

    In conjunction with Carleton College’s Alumni Reunion Weekend activities, four new members are to be welcomed into the 'C' Club Hall of Fame. The 39th annual induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 21 at the Weitz Center for Creativity. The 2014 induction class includes men’s distance runner Matt Hooley ’04, football player and All-American sprinter Gerard Cote ’94, women’s volleyball star Cristina Churchill ’89, and Marie Matsen ’69, a pioneer in women’s athletics.

    Men's Track and Field: Marcus Huderle concludes career with 14th place finish at NCAA Championships
