    2016 MIAC Cross Country Championships Preview

    The Carleton College men's and women's cross country teams will race at the MIAC Championships on Saturday, Oct. 29. The Carleton men finished third last season, while the women's team captured its third straight team team title.

    Women's Soccer: Knights Come Up Short vs. No. 14 St. Thomas

    In the squad’s last home match of the season and a must-win affair if the Knights wanted to keep their playoff hopes alive a little longer, the Carleton College women’s soccer team hosted No. 14-ranked University of St. Thomas on Wednesday afternoon. The Knights and Tommies played in drizzly conditions with the visitors eventually claiming a 3-0 victory.

    Volleyball: Knights Can't Fly With Cardinals

    WINONA, Minn. – In its penultimate match of the 2016 season, the Carleton College volleyball team yielded to a potent Saint Mary’s University squad in four sets (25-11, 23-25, 25-23, 25-20) on Wednesday evening in picturesque Winona. Despite the loss, the Knights still remain mathematically alive for the sixth and final MIAC playoff spot.

    Men's Soccer: Knights Fall 1-0 to No. 6 St. Thomas

    NORTHFIELD, Minn. – On a rainy afternoon, the Carleton College men’s soccer team dropped a 1-0 matchup against visiting University of St. Thomas. It also marked the final regular-season home game for the seven seniors on the Knights roster: Kevin Doyle, Alex Griese, Danny Leal, KC Onuoha, Riley Phelps, and Charles Slocum.

    Men's Soccer: Riley Phelps Nabs First MIAC Weekly Award

    Senior midfielder Riley Phelps was named the MIAC Men’s Soccer Athlete-of-the-Week after he scored the game-winning goal for Carleton College men’s soccer in Saturday's win over rival and regionally-ranked St. Olaf.

    Knights Compete at UST Relays

    The Carleton College swimming and diving teams took part in their first intercollegiate competition of the 2016-17 season as the Knights participated in the UST Relays. Combined, the Knights posted a total of 16 top-four finishes, including a first-place result int eh women's 20-yard freestyle relay.
