Jerry Cook-Gallardo continued his stellar rookie campaign by earning a spot in the finals of the 800-meter run at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships. He finished second in his heat with a time of 1:51.08, the second-best mark posted by a first-year in the field of 20 student-athletes.

Women's Track and Field: All-American Amelia Campbell Finishes Fourth in Heptathlon on Day Two of the NCAA Championships
Carleton College junior Amelia Campbell secured All-American status for the third time in her career after finishing fourth in the heptathlon at the 2015 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships. She accumulated 4,924 points over the two-day of competition.

Men's Track and Field: Hart Hornor Takes Third in 10K, Picks up All-America Recognition on First Day at NCAA Championships
Junior Hart Hornor made his NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships debut on Thursday and turned in an All-America performance by finishing third in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 30:51.74. He is one of three members of the Carleton College men’s track and field team slated to compete at Nationals, which runs through Saturday.

The Carleton College women’s track and field team sent a trio student-athletes to compete at the 2015 NCAA DIII Outdoor Championships, and all three Knights were in action on Thursday, the first of three days on competition at the Merrick-Pinkard Track and Field Complex.
