Sports Medicine

The Carleton College Sports Medicine team consists of three athletic trainers, a team physician, and a physical therapist. This team provides healthcare to each of our varsity athletes in our 20 NCAA sports at Carleton. In addition to coverage of varsity practices and events, the athletic training staff also provides an injury evaluation walk-in clinic four days a week for the 25 club teams in the Physical Education, Athletics and Recreation department.

There are four athletic training rooms on campus. The main athletic training office is in the Recreation Center (#209). The team physician and physical therapist see athletes by appointment in the Recreation Center athletic training room. The other three training rooms are located in West Gym (#123), Laird Stadium (#010), and Cowling Gymnasium (#114).

Athletic Training and Physical Therapy Services are provided by Northfield Hospital and Clinics. Team physician services are provided by Allina Clinic Northfield.
