<title>Carleton Alum Phillip Dunn '93 Completes Third Olympics</title>
<description>&lt;p&gt;Carleton College alum &lt;strong&gt;Phillip Dunn ’93&lt;/strong&gt; competed in his third Olympic games on Thursday, finishing 39th in the 50km race walk in Beijing, China. He posted a finishing time of 4 hours, 8 minutes and 32 seconds. He previously participated in the Summer Olympics held in Sydney (2000) and Athens (2004) where he finished 28th and 35th, respectively. Dunn, the lone American in the 61-man field, crossed the finish line with his arms raised, then waited to greet Augusto Cardoso of Portugal who finished another 28 seconds later.
