Junior &lt;strong&gt;Brian Chesley&lt;/strong&gt; paced the Knights during the final round, firing a five-over par 77 for his best round over the three-day tournament. &lt;strong&gt;Aaron Buckley&lt;/strong&gt; tallied Carleton's top overall performance, finishing with a 54-hole total of 232 strokes, finishing in a tie for 21st.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<title>Knights Set New Standard, Finish 15th at SJU Spring Invite</title>
<description>&lt;p&gt;The Carleton College men’s golf team continued its gradual improvement last weekend at the Saint John's Spring Invitational held at the Monticello and St. Cloud country clubs. The Knights posted a team score of 966, which bettered the Carleton record score in the event by 10 shots. &lt;strong&gt;Brian Chesley&lt;/strong&gt; led the way with scores of 74, 76, and 84 for a 20-over par 234. His supporting cast backed him up admirably, led by &lt;strong&gt;Turner Wadington&lt;/strong&gt;'s 238, as the Knights posted scores of 86 or better in a single tournament for the first time in the last several years. Overall, Carleton finished 15th of 16 teams at the competitive event.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
