<title>Marschall is Three-Time All-American at 2008 NCAA Swimming Championships</title>
<description>&lt;p&gt;Carleton College junior &lt;strong&gt;Ted Marschall&lt;/strong&gt; concluded his amazing performance at the 2008 Men's Division III NCAA Swimming Championships with his third All-American performance of the weekend, finishing fourth in the 200-yard breaststroke. He finished second in both the 200-yard and 400-yard individual medley races earlier during the three-day competition. He has now earned All-America honors a total of six times in his collegiate career.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<title>Knights Place Third at MIAC Championships</title>
<description>&lt;p&gt;The Carleton College men’s swimming and diving team rallied late Saturday evening to finish third at the 2008 MIAC Championships. &lt;strong&gt;Ted Marschall&lt;/strong&gt; (Jr./Burnsville, Minn.) was named the men’s MIAC Swimmer of the Year. He picked up his third individual title of the weekend in this evening’s competition, pulling away from the field in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:03.28, just shy of his meet record time set in the morning preliminaries.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<title>MIAC Championships - Day 2 Recap</title>
<description>&lt;p&gt;Carleton’s &lt;strong&gt;Ted Marschall&lt;/strong&gt; (Jr./Burnsville, Minn.) broke his own meet record with a 3:57.11 in the 400 IM, good for a 10-second victory. It was his third consecutive conference title in the event, and he swept the individual medley races this year. The men’s swimming and diving team sits in fourth place heading into the meet’s final day. Gustavus (547 points) and St. Olaf (507) have separated themselves in the team competition. The Knights, with 277 points, are close behind St. Thomas (284).&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<title>Swimming and Diving: MIAC Championships - Day 1 Recap</title>
<description>&lt;p&gt;After the first full day of action at the MIAC Swimming and Diving Championships, the Carleton College Knights find themselves near the top of the leaderboard in both the men’s and women’s team competitions. Sophomore &lt;strong&gt;Kate Alexander&lt;/strong&gt; continued her domination of the medley events, shattering her own conference and meet mark as she cruised to the victory in the 200 IM with an NCAA automatic qualifying time of 2:06.94, more than two seconds better than last year’s time. She later raced on Carleton's winning 400 medley relay. &lt;strong&gt;Ted Marschall&lt;/strong&gt; broke his own conference record in taking top honors in the 200 individual medley with a winning time of 1:49.72, the fastest recorded time in Division III this season. He held off St. Olaf’s Nelson Westby, the defending champ, by nearly two seconds.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
