<title>Freshman Duo Dazzles at Cows, Colleges, and Contentment Classic</title>
<description>&lt;p&gt;The Carleton men’s swimming and diving team was strongly represented in Saturday’s Cows, Colleges, and Contentment Classic hosted by St. Olaf College. The team found plenty to cheer about thanks to the performances of freshmen &lt;strong&gt;Erik Klontz&lt;/strong&gt; and &lt;strong&gt;Marmoru Kanazawa&lt;/strong&gt; who combined to win three events. Additionally, &lt;strong&gt;Eric Brenner&lt;/strong&gt; emerged as the victor in the 3-meter diving competition.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<title>Alexander Sisters Lead Knights at Cows, Colleges, and Contentment Classic</title>
<description>&lt;p&gt;Sisters &lt;strong&gt;Maggie&lt;/strong&gt; and &lt;strong&gt;Kate Alexander&lt;/strong&gt; led the Knights in their performance at the Cows, Colleges, and Contentment Classic. Maggie placed first in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 18:44.43, while Kate conquered the competition in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:17.78. Kate’s closest competitor was first-year teammate &lt;strong&gt;Maddie Epping&lt;/strong&gt;, who captured second place with a time of 2:19.26.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;On an unnaturally warm November day, the Carleton College offense could never heat up when it needed to most as the Knights fell to visiting Concordia College-Moorhead 31-16 in the season finale at Laird Stadium.  The game marked the final home contest for five Carleton seniors, including defensive end &lt;strong&gt;Adam Hallbeck&lt;/strong&gt;, who had nine tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery..&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<title>Knights Lose Heartbreaker in MIAC Finals</title>
<description>&lt;p&gt;Looking to win the MIAC championships as well as the regular season title, the Carleton’s men’s soccer team lost a thrilling MIAC championship game today 1-0 to Macalester College. The top-seeded Knights could not find the equalizer after Macalester’s Scott Petesch tapped one over the line in the 61st minute. The Knights certainly had their chances in the second half to put one in the net themselves, but were unable to convert on all opportunities.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
