<title>Schmidt Wins Marathon Match to Take Fifth Place at ITA Small College Championship</title>
<description>&lt;p&gt;Carleton College sophomore &lt;strong&gt;Kathryn Schmidt&lt;/strong&gt; finished her weekend of action at the ITA National Small College Championships in dramatic fashion, prevailing 7-6 (7-3), 6-7 (1-7), and 7-6 (7-1) in a nearly four hour-long match. Schmidt captured fifth place as she capped a tournament that saw her defeat the defending national singles champion on Friday.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
